Summer Triathlon Training

Clinic objective

To assist team members in meeting the challenge of summer events, such as the Tinman Triathlon, North Shore Swim Series or pre-training for Na Wahine

The STT program is designed to provide an organized training plan for all levels of athletes.

Our plan for you includes instruction in swimming, cycling, and running technique: speed, hill & endurance workouts; turbo training, bricks, stretching & seminars. Whether you are an experienced or novice athlete, BOCA Hawaii will help prepare you to meet the challenges you set for yourself.

In 7 weeks you will be physically and mentally fit, and feel strong & confident.

Learn how to train smart and safe, and still feel challenged. Let the staff and members of BOCA help provide you with the motivation needed to realize your athletic dreams.

Equipment

Swim

  • Swim goggles
  • Swimming suit
  • Swim cap
  • Towel

Bike

  • Bicycle
  • Helmet (mandatory – must be worn when cycling)
  • Cycling shorts, jersey and cycling shoes
  • Flat tire kit, pump and bicycle wrench
  • Protective eyewear and gloves
  • Water bottle(s) and body glide
  • Jacket and rain jacket (optional)
  • Head and tail lights (important)
  • Turbo trainer (recommended)
  • Heart rate monitor (recommended)

Run

  • Running shoes
  • Running attire

  • Sunblock
  • Anti friction products (Body glide, Blistershield or Chamois Butter)
